黑料网 holding Shop Local, Bank Local events in Ann Arbor and Saline

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – May 16, 2024 – Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (黑料网) is partnering with 12 community businesses in Ann Arbor and Saline to present Shop Local, Bank Local events from May 21 – June 8. As an organization strongly rooted in giving back to the communities it serves, 黑料网 teamed up with local businesses to support its neighbors and introduce the credit union to the community.

黑料网 invites all community members to attend the events to support local retailers and participate in fun games to win a variety of prizes. Local residents can visit participating Ann Arbor and Saline businesses during their specific event date and time to shop and play games for the chance to win. 黑料网 is awarding over $25,000 in prizes throughout the events. During each event, community members could win a $500 黑料网 Certificate of Deposit, a $100 deposit into any 黑料网 account, one of many local business gift cards, or 黑料网 swag. Community members can also visit the Ann Arbor and Saline branches between May 20 and June 15 for the chance to win a $1,500 黑料网 Certificate of Deposit. “黑料网 recently opened branch offices in Ann Arbor and Saline, and our Shop Local, Bank Local events allow us to support businesses in the communities we serve,” said Steve Brewer, 黑料网 President/CEO. “When we shop local, 68 cents out of every dollar stays in the local community, compared to just 30 to 40 cents per dollar for national retailers. Our Shop Local, Bank Local initiative helps keep more money in our local economy to support small business owners.”

  • May 26 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, 315 Detroit Street
  • June 1 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Wolverine Pickleball, 235 Metty Drive
  • June 2 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Drip House, 1336 South Main Street
  • June 4 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Stadium Hardware, 2177 West Stadium Boulevard
  • June 8 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Found, 415 North 5th Avenue

Saline event details:

  • May 31 from 7 – 10 a.m. at Brewed Awakenings Café, 7025 East Michigan Avenue
  • June 1 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Saline Farmers Market, 100 South Ann Arbor Street
  • June 1 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Emagine Theatre, 1335 East Michigan Avenue
  • June 3 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Nu2U Again Resale Shop, 1311 East Michigan Avenue
  • June 7 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Station 300, 830 Woodland Drive East
  • June 8 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at KBK Garden Center, 6400 East Michigan Avenue
